Well, I would start off with a little about me, but you can see most of that from my profile. Instead, I'll tell you a little bit about my etsy shop (although don't worry - this blog isn't going to be solely about promotion!). I make photo frames, journals, keepsakes and jewellery using vintage and contemporary ephemera. To see what that translates to in real terms, have a look at my products here.


I love creating, but what I really love is browsing etsy for supplies I can use in my work. It's great to just look around and see what's available - I get more ideas through spotting a particular type of lace or bag of mixed buttons than I do straight from my imagination.


At the moment, I'm working on some headbands made using vintage lace and antiqued paper flowers. I did have one right ready to list, but then I decided I'd rather keep it for myself!


I'm still quite new to etsy, so at the moment I'm spending most of my time improving my photos, getting my facebook fan page set up, subscribing to twitter, that sort of thing. Once I've got all of that up and running, I'll be able to spend more time creating wonderful things for people.
